Yeasayer - O.N.E.

Brooklyn’s post-everything mavericks, Yeasayer, are gearing up to release their much-anticipated second album Odd Blood at the beginning of February. They’re offering new single O.N.E. as a free download from their website at the moment – all you have to do is give them your email address.

Late last year, the band released ‘Ambling Alp’, the brilliant first single from Odd Blood - full of hooks, manic solos, pitch-shifted vocals and a ‘stick up for yourself son’ chorus, it eclipsed everything they’d done before. O.N.E. sounds like Paul Simon backed by Animal Collective and will be released physically  in March. Odd Blood can be pre-ordered now, and you’ll be given a free digital download of the album in return for your troubles. The band will tour the UK in February, Europe in March and the U.S. in April.
