The Pigeon Detectives return with new single and tour

The band's new single is taken from their album Emergency
When the Kaiser Chiefs are having a day off from their most witty “it’s grim oop North” social commentary, and while Alex Turner is attached to Alexa Chung’s face like a leech, The Pigeon Detectives neatly fill the Yorkshire-shaped gaps.
New single ‘Say It Like You Mean It’ is lifted from the band’s gold-selling second album, Emergency, and is released on October 20th 2008. Also featured on the single are two cover versions: the least-Yuletide-ever Christmas hit ‘The Power Of Love’, by Huey Lewis and The News, and recent robodisco choon ‘Ready For The Floor’ by Hot Chip.

Their winter UK tour takes in most of the fine touring milestones, and culminates with a double header in their home city of Leeds. See the boys at:
