The Decemberists announce London dates

The Decemberists
Folk-prog-thesp-rock outfit The Decemberists have announced two London shows to support their most recent album, The Hazards of Love. The band will make the journey over to the UK in November (hopefully on a galleon, we’d hate to think of them taking a stupid boring old aeroplane).
Colin Meloy and friends will play the Kentish Town Forum on November 18th, and The Coronet at Elephant and Castle on November 19th. Non-Londoners will have to do without, for the time being it seems.
Reports suggest that the shows will be based around a special set list – the band will play The Hazards of Love in its entirety, and also treat fans to a selection of tracks from their back catalogue. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday 29th August) at 9am. Meanwhile, The Hazards of Love is one of our favourite albums of 2009 so far!
