RAR!

On Friday 22nd January this fantastic under-18s event took place at the Albany in Deptford. There were two wicked DJs, Dean & Dex Lutha, keeping the vibe high and alive. This was our second time going. We thoroughly enjoyed it & thought it was even better than the first time we went.

First up at 7:30-8:15 was Artefacts Showcase. They kicked the night off and got the whole crowd going. They used modern songs as their base but rapped over the top of it using their own lyrics.

Next up was Conrad. The whole club came alive and no one could resist getting on the dance floor. Everyone went wild when they came on. Conrad amazed us all with their fast, tongue tying rapping skills.

Now this was our favourite act Maxwell D. He was the best out of all the acts because he engaged the audience by getting a girl & a boy on stage singing about the drink ‘Blackberry High’. Check him out on MySpace.

Last but not least was Bashy. He made the night go out with a BISH BASH BOSH! What an amazing way to end the night.

To listen to any of the bands go on MySpace; hope to see you there next time!
