Last weekend (7th-9th March) saw British Wildlife Festival 2014 take over the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, providing as promised – great music, tasty treats and all the usual charm of the Brude’ itself. On Entry guests are presented with a wristband saying ‘British Wildlife Loves You’, which allows you to come and go as you please throughout the event, free to explore the surroundings, the venue being only a stones throw from the Hyde Park Picture House and the ambitiously suggested but worthy ‘world renowned Pitza Cano’.

Live At Leeds Announces 50 More Acts

Live at Leeds has announced 50 more acts due to play this year’s festival, adding to their already exciting line-up. As well as the line-up additions, they have announced that the acts will grace the stages of four different venues to last year; The Hi-Fi Club, Leeds Town Hall, Oporto and the Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen.

Queens of the Stone Age and Paramore have been announced as co-headliners at the Reading and Leeds festivals this summer. Both bands will appear at Reading on Friday August 22, then Leeds on Saturday August 23. This completes the headliners for 2014 as they join the likes of Blink 182 and Arctic Monkeys.
