New HEALTH record available to pre-order

HEALTH

HEALTH

LA noise-rock-dance-whatever band HEALTH are currently gearing up for the release of their new album, the u-less Get Color on September 8th. Get Color is available to pre-order from Lovepump and the packages contain a T-shirt, tote bag, stickers, badges and, err, music – the album will be available to download by those who pre-order it from August 8th. If lead single ‘Die Slow’ is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat. The band certainly sound excited:

“The future of music is showcased on HEALTH’s noise opus GET COLOR. Two years in the works, it features future-world singles “DIE SLOW”, “WE ARE WATER”, and “NICE GIRLS” as well as noisy face-incinerators like “EAT FLESH” and “IN HEAT” and the quivering-sound balladry of “BEFORE TIGERS” and “IN VIOLET”. In short, 9 songs masterfully recorded and produced by HEALTH on analog tape; an album which sound like nothing you’ve ever heard before!”

Meanwhile, HEALTH have an extensive European and North American tour planned for the summer, with a show in London supporting Deerhunter at Koko on 24th August, where, presumably, concert-goers faces will be incinerated by noise.
