The new single by Friendly Fires, entitled ‘Kiss of Life’, will get its first airing on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show this evening (13th July). It will be released on 31st August via XL.

The track has been produced by Paul Epworth. Alongside the release of the new single, the band will also re-issue their self-titled debut album. The expanded edition will come with an extra CD, including the fantastic Air France remix of ‘Skeleton Boy’, and a DVD of four songs from their gig at Kentish Town Forum in May of this year. The band have also announced a special home-coming show at The Alban Arena, St Alban’s on September 3rd – ticket will go on sale tonight from 7pm, exclusively from the band’s website. The tracklist is as follows:
