Peter Kay follows up X Factor spoof

Following his ratings smash TV reality spoof earlier this year Peter Kay has announced plans to bring character Geraldine McQueen back to Channel Four.

Britain’s Got the Pop Factor and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice garnered Channel Four its biggest audience of the year when it aired last month, pulling in 6.1M viewers.

His latest show will be a spoof of a behind the scenes show similar to Xtra Factor. Britain’s Got An Extra Pop Factor And Then Some will show as part of a mini-season of shows devoted to Kay.
