Georgia Barry

By Leanne Sherman

Georgia Barry showcases elements of that all-important diversity that we crave in music nowadays and then, there’s also this intense strength that pushes her material to the forefront of soul music in the UK.
As a result of some very well-attended live performances at various venues over here, Georgia has caught the attention of quite a few musical admirers and production maestros (including Gregory Curtis and LA’s finest in Gavin Christopher, who’s helped Chaka Khan among others) with her mixture of seductive vocals, and a truly mesmerising stage presence. Seriously folks, it doesn’t get much more entertaining, wherever you are from, and whatever you are into.

If you don’t believe us, check out the live video below for the song ’I'm In Love’ – proper beautiful stuff, we think you’ll agree?

What’s the back-story, then? Well, fortunately, Georgia’s well-connected, err, network have always supported her musical adventures – her vocal coach is David Lee Brewer (he’s worked with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland). As a result she looks to be in very good (and capable) hands. 2012 is going to be a good year for this young lady in the UK and abroad.
