Exclusive The Horrors news from the Mercury Prize

We’ve got some exclusive news on The Horrors live from the Barclaycard Mercury Prize 2009!

Muso’s Guide chatted to the band on the red carpet outside the event at Grosvenor House Hotel in London. They told us that their show at this weekend’s Offset Festival was one of the hardest they’ve ever had to play, as they were riddled with technical difficulties. Obviously, they were pleased that everyone enjoyed it.

We also found out more about a new single release. The band have been recording and a new tune, ‘Who Can Say’, produced by Damon Albarn, will be out in the very near future. They’ve been recording and it’ll be out soon, or so they say…

In the meantime, they’re firm favourites to win the Mercury Prize tonight. Time will tell…
