!!! drummer Jerry Fuchs has died after falling down an elevator shaft at a fundraising party in Williamsburg, New York.
After the elevator stopped on the fifth floor, the drummer and a friend attempted to jump over the gap between the elevator and the floor. While his friend survived, Fuchs fell to his death after his clothing became caught on the elevator.
Fuchs, 34, also drummed for bands such as Maserati, The Juan MacLean, Turing Machine and Vineland.
He is survived by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
