With only two days to go until Record Store Day 2013 Jack White has invited fans to his Nashville studio to record themselves on vinyl. As official ambassador for this year’s event White will open a special booth (on the day) at his label Third Man Records. Vox Box is the new kid on the block in Edinburgh’s record store scene, having only opened in May 2011. Canadian indie rock band Hooded Fang are set to return with their third album Gravez on Monday May 27. Hipsville makes its debut on the Sixties/Garage festival scene this year over the weekend of 10 – 12 May. At time of writing acts including Wild Evel & The Trashbones, The Masonics, Les BOF!, The Shook-Ups, The Norvins, The Stags and Speedball Jr., along with a host of DJs, were confirmed as appearing in Bisley, Surrey over the three days.
