After hearing rumours of fluffed lines, unrehearsed sketches and walk-outs at his Liverpool show last month, I wasn’t sure what to expect whenÂ seeing one of Manchester‘s favourite sons, Steve Coogan, at the first hometown show of hisÂ only stand-up tour in ten years.
A LA judge has ordered a former friend of the late comedian, Rodney Dangerfield, not to release video footage of the comic in his final years.
“The man who thinks he’s it”, as Steve Coogan is referred to on the fan site http://www.coogans-run.co.uk/, has returned to play his first live shows in ten years in the UK. Now rubbing shoulders with the very-rich and very-famous in Los Angeles, Coogan crops up regularly in the press after various spats with Courtney Love, and is more famous now for his movies thanÂ the small-time sitcoms that launched him.
Sweaty Italian American comic, Dom Irrera, who played Tony the limo driver in The Big Lebowski was arrested for drink driving in LA yesterday at 50 past midnight.
