In this uncertain financial climate, and with festival promoters under increasing pressure, it’s heartening to see that All Tomorrow’s Parties are still managing to put on such high calibre festivals and events. Following the success of 2012’s I’ll Be Your Mirror, and the impressive initial line up of its successor, this year’s event looks set to be equally triumphant.

I’ll Be Your Mirror 2013 is a New York double-header, with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Grizzly Bear both curating a day each as the festival plays host to a London exclusive for both bands. The festivities will take place in the beautiful surroundings of Alexandra Palace over the May Day bank holiday weekend.

Saturday 4th is curated by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, acting as the southern leg of a May mini tour to promote their new album Mosquito, which is due out on April 16th. Joining them will be: Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Black Lips, The Field, Dirty Beaches, King Khan and the Shrines, Mick Harvey (performing the songs of Serge Gainsbourg) and Anika.

Grizzly Bear, following-on from the success of their highly acclaimed fourth studio album Shields, will take charge on Sunday 5th. Also performing will be: The Walkmen, Van Dyke Parks, Tortoise, Real Estate, I Break Horses and Cass McCombs.

Around 35 bands in total are set to play the event across the two days plus DJ’s, film screenings and more to be confirmed.

The event takes place at Alexandra Palace, London on May 4th and 5th, 2013. Saturday & Sunday Weekend Tickets cost £110. Saturday or Sunday Day Tickets are priced at £59 each.

Tickets go on sale from Thursday 31st January at 9 am and are available direct from ATP here.
